We are an e-commerce company looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the enrollment and maintenance of employees in our Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) program. You will collaborate with HR and healthcare providers to ensure accurate enrollment and compliance with agreed terms. Additionally, you will audit HMO costs, manage employee deductions, and prepare the necessary accounting entries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with HR and healthcare providers to audit HMO invoices, verify enrolled members, and ensure compliance with agreements.

• Prepare and post all HMO-related bookings and deductions in compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).

• Manage employee HMO deductions, track related schedules, and ensure accurate data recording.

• Address inquiries and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

• Conduct regular audits to maintain payroll accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with payroll specialization preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.

• Reliable internet connection (20mbps upload and download speed), backup ISP, and a dependable computer setup (at least i5 process or its equivalent).
